When someone we are connected to dies we can find ourselves in a position were we are struggling to find the words to express the impact this death has had on our life. We live in a society that acts as if grief is over once the funeral is over, though in many cases this grief journey has only just begun.
Grief Movement Classes use movement, breath and sound to help connect to where grief is being held in your body. By removing the need to talk, these classes actively encourage you to connect into and feel your emotions, but to also find safe ways to release them. After all, emotions need motion in order to begin to heal.
In these 1 hour classes it’s ok to cry, to feel angry, and to even laugh. This is your grief journey and it’s unique to you. I will not ask you too explain who you are grieving for, it is enough that you are grieving and need support. I will ask attendees to share their persons name, if they choose too.
This class is about listening to what is right for you and your grief as such, every activity we do is done as an invitation. Do as much or as little as feels right for you. There is no right or wrong way to do this. Relax, your grief is safe with me.
These classes are delivered online via Zoom. If you are unable to attend the class a recording of that class will be sent over to you 48 hours after the end of the class. This video will only show the movements used in the class, not the group discussions held at the end, for the privacy of those who attended life and wished to share their experience with the group.
Gifts and support developed to help you connect
to your grief and transform it,
rather than run away from it.
